The International Nuremberg Principles Academy and the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg are proud to announce the opening of the applications for the Nuremberg Moot Court 2022 between 15 November 2021 and 17 January 2022.

We would like to invite your university to apply before 17 January 2022 via our website. The Nuremberg Moot Court will be held online. The oral rounds will take place from 1 to 15 July 2022.

The Nuremberg Moot Court is an international competition, held in English. Teams from all over the world are invited to argue a fictitious case before the "International Criminal Court". The competition consists of two phases. During the Written Phase, teams submit two memoranda (for the Prosecution and the Defence). Teams with the best results will be invited to the Oral Round.

In 2021, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, 46 teams took part in the Oral Rounds. A video of the Finals of the competition can be found on our website.

Further details can be found in the FAQ on the Nuremberg Moot Court website  and in the Nuremberg Moot Court Rules.

Kind regards,

Anabela Alves
